Love Over Lust is a three-piece band that plays a fusion of hard rock, garage, modern blues and rock 'n' roll music. The band members are Lawrence Anthony Delos Reyes on vocals/guitar, Bars Basconcillo on Bass, and Brian Brazas on drums. Formerly a rock duo, as of 2023, the band decided to expand into a trio to achieve a heavier and more melodic sound. Since the band's inception in 2013, they have been actively performing gigs on the underground music scene in Metro Manila.
In 2016, one of the band's major breakthroughs came into the scene by being named one of the Hard Rock Rising finalists here in the Philippines. This propelled them into producing and releasing their first full length album called Little By Little in March 2017. The album was well-received by music fans and peers in the local music community and also spawned 4 singles namely: Vices Grip, Engkanto, Just Fake It, and Poison. Also, the band embarked on an album tour around Metro Manila and in Kalibo, Aklan. It was at this time that the band gained some local and international recognition, having songs played on radio stations in Manila, Cebu, as well as Australia.
In 2024, Love Over Lust released their second album L|R and are currently touring to promote the release.
