• THE SMILE - WALL OF EYES [Album]
"It's definitely the The Smile's latest album Wall of Eyes for me. (In particular, the track Friend of a Friend.) As a Radiohead fan waiting and hoping for Radiohead's comeback, The Smile is a good filler for the waiting and begging. The Smile has that sound in between The King of Limbs and In Rainbows. Somewhere in there, this offspring of Thom and Jonny was born. Same old Thom, abstract lyrics, a falsetto here and there, and with Jonny Greenwood at its helm, you'll be in for one hell of a ride."

• JACK WHITE - NO NAME [Album]
"He just released an album out of the blue, without teasing or build ups. The whole album is a banger, Jack brought back his classic garage sounds from The White Stripes. No Name is the combination of all of his works from Stripes, Dead Weather to Raconteurs. That's How I'm Feeling is the great choice for the first single, it served as a taste for what's going on in the album. Old Scratch Blues is my fave."

• THE CURE - SONGS OF A LOST WORLD [Album]
"My all-time favorite album from the band has always been Disintegration and Lost World harkens back to that era. It even perfects the style by stripping away any ounce of silliness. This sounds like a perfect elegy. A great artful comeback from Robert Smith & co."
• THE SMASHING PUMPKINS - AGHORA MHORA MEI [Album]
"A perfect successor to their 2023 album Atum as they have returned to form which makes it seem like they just continued where they left off after 2000's MACHINA: The Machines of God. Corgan's songwriting here does not feel too overindulgent. And it's in the pop songs where the Pumpkins truly shine."

• MARILYN MANSON - ONE ASSASSINATION UNDER GOD (CHAPTER 1) [Album]
"Probably Mr. Manson's most melodic record yet, this release sees him attempt to soar ever so closely to soulful territory. Manson wears his heart on his sleeve the most glaringly in this one."
• OPETH - THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT [Album]
"Another tour de force in interweaving the intricate and the abrasive in a very sublime way! One of my recent favorite bands."
